Omicron Variant: National, New York Media Seek CDI Expertise

The Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus appeared in South Africa in November 2021, and touched off global concern due to its collection of dozens of mutations. 

National and New York media covered the efforts of the Hackensack Meridian Center for Discovery and Innovation (CDI) and its ability to find Omicron’s signature collection of genetic changes as everyone awaited the spread of the latest viral variant in the ever-evolving COVID-19 pandemic.
