CDI’s Perlin Attends INFOCUS-ISHAM Meeting in Brazil

David Perlin, Ph.D., chief scientific officer and senior vice president of the Hackensack Meridian Health Center for Discovery and Innovation, addresses anti-fungal drug resistance on an expert panel at the INFOCUS ISHAM meeting in Brazil on Nov. 15. INFOCUS is a meeting delineated for medical mycologists, microbiologists, epidemiologists, infectious diseases specialists, oncologists, transplant physicians, intensivists, and all other health care workers and students interested in Medical Mycology. In the last three editions, INFOCUS had the active participation of more than 500 attendees, including graduate students, health care workers from reference medical centers and Universities form Latin America, key leaders in the field of medical mycology, and representatives of the most relevant companies committed with the developing of new diagnostic and therapeutic tools for combating fungal infections.
