Research background with 10 years of experience in immunology, molecular biology >and infection biology focused on emerging diseases pertinent to environment and public health (tuberculosis, Japanese encephalitis virus, human coronaviruses) supplemented with over 10 peer-reviewed publications. Currently playing an integral role in Metropolitan AntiViral Drug Accelerator projects focused on innovative, multidisciplinary drug discovery research to develop, optimize, and test innovative small molecule antiviral drugs that target coronaviruses (such as SARS-CoV-2), and other viral families with high potential to cause a pandemic in the future.
