Jason C. Lee, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Lee is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon dedicated to restoring form and function for his patients. As an assistant professor at JFK University Medical Center, he specializes in rebuilding areas of the head and neck affected by cancer, trauma, or other conditions. His advanced training includes microvascular surgery—a delicate procedure where tissue is transplanted by meticulously reconnecting tiny blood vessels under a microscope.

Driven by a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care, Dr. Lee is passionate about treating facial paralysis. He leads the Facial Nerve program at JFK, where he offers hope and innovative treatments to patients with acute or long-term facial paralysis, helping them regain movement and facial expression.

Dr. Lee’s expertise is further demonstrated by his extensive research, numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals, and active membership in the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Head and Neck Society.
