Kwok Lab

Gary Kwok, Ph.D., is an Assistant Member of the Center for Discovery and Innovation and Assistant Professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.

Dr. Kwok’s research work focuses on the unique needs of adolescent and young adult cancer survivors who are navigating the challenges of cancer care in the midst of normative developmental transitions. He is interested in leveraging digital health interventions to improve psychosocial and quality-of-life outcomes among this vulnerable population. His long-term goals are: (1) Developing scalable digital health interventions and (2) Examining the best strategies to implement them in community and healthcare settings. His research is supported by the New Jersey Commission on Cancer Research as well as the Rutgers Cancer Survivorship and Outcomes Center.
