Hackensack Meridian CDI leader recognized for work in research by Fellowship distinction
David Perlin, Ph.D., chief scientific officer of the Hackensack Meridian Center for Discovery and Innovation (CDI), has been elected a Fellow of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (FIDSA), one of the highest honors in the field.
The Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) is a global community dedicated to tackling infectious disease challenges.
For more than 60 years, the IDSA has been a leading force in improving global health, striving to be a trusted resource and advocate for professionals committed to lessening the global impact of infectious disease. IDSA focuses on building a diverse infectious diseases workforce to enhance patient care, advance scientific understanding, and promote public health.
This distinction of fellowship recognizes Perlin’s individual contributions and commitment to scientific research excellence in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases, while honoring his leadership at the CDI in driving innovation and advancing the Center's mission.
